The new NDP provincial government and its governing agreement with the BC Greens gives us the greatest opportunity in BC's history to protect old-growth forests. Now is the time to speak up and demand action! Join the AFA and a diversity of compelling speakers on Tuesday, November 28th, from 7 to 8:30 pm to learn how the BC government can protect our old-growth forests while ensuring a sustainable second-growth forest industry that works for our ecosystems, First Nations, forestry-dependent communities and the people of BC. Your participation makes all the difference and will send a strong signal to the government that we want bold action now!

Arnold Bercov - President of the Public and Private Workers of Canada

Gisele Martin - Tla-o-qui-aht cultural educator with the Raincoast Education Society

Dr. Andy MacKinnon - Metchosin City Councillor and forest botanist
