Kayak for a Cure, Isle of Man | Victoria Kayaker raises funds for Charity
Local paddler and SISKA Member, Gordin Warner, is planning to paddle around the Islae of Man this summer to raise funds for Cancer Research.
On May 30th, at the SISKA social, members of the South Island Kayak Association (SISKA) raised $635 for the Canadian Cancer Society/Kayak for a Cure Round Isle of Man project.

Kayak for a Cure - Victoria - August 9th, 2009 - Brentwood Bay
The 2nd Annual Kayak for a Cure™ Victoria benefiting the Canadian Cancer Society takes place Sunday August 9th, 2009. The Canadian Cancer Society is a national, community-based organization whose mission is the eradication of cancer and the enhancement of the quality of life of people living with cancer.
The 2nd Annual Kayak For A Cure™ Victoria fundraiser is a relaxed day paddle from Verdier Park/Brentwood Bay down Saanich Inlet to Finlayson Arm where we stop for lunch before paddling back to Verdier Park for a KFAC post paddle BBQ.
Twenty six Paddlers at the 1st Annual Kayak For A Cure™ Victoria on August 10th 2008, raised over $11,000.00 for the Canadian Cancer Society! Our fundraising goal for 2009 is $15,000.00!
