Title: SISKA AGM Meeting***

Description: ***This month’s meeting begins with the AGM, so please make every effort to attend. Some executive positions and program committee positions are open for 2012. SISKA is a volunteer run club and your support and input is welcome and necessary! The executive team meets once a month (not in the summer), and a variety of skills, enthusiasm and/or experience make participation interesting and fulfilling. Commitments range from less than an hour to a few hours per month. Contact president@siska.ca for more information.

Following the AGM, Lynne Parten will do a one hour presentation on Hypothermia and Hyperthermia: Prevention, Physiology, Treatment and Recovery. Although a fairly new kayaker, Lynne will apply her knowledge from a long history of nursing, including outpost nursing in Inuvik and Tuktoyaktuk (with some interesting stories to tell!), a certified Ground Search and Rescue member, and many years of boating experience.
