  A SISKA paddle from Cadboro Bay to Ten Mile Point

The estimated distance for this paddle is 4.50nm.
   
When:
  Thursday January 23rd, 2020. Meet at 9:30 am to be on the water at 10:00 am .
   
Where:
  Meet at the Cadboro Bay launch site. Sandy beach with lots of parking. Tide does go out a fair way. View map of launch site.
   
Who:
  Contact the trip leader, Gary Weeks, for more information or to register for the paddle. Please note that the paddle leader has set the maximum number of paddlers for this paddle to 10. Register early if you plan on joining.
   
The Plan:

Plan A
This will be the second of our new Light Paddles which take place on Tuesday or Thursday. On the water at 10am with a duration of 2-3 hours with no lunch stop. These Light Paddles will follow the same rules as Relaxed Paddles with regard to current, wind, waves and crossings.

From Cadboro Bay we will follow the coastline around the end of Ten Mile Point, exploring at a relaxed pace. Depending upon wind, wave and current we will reverse our course after about 90 minutes and return to our launch point. Paddlers are invited for a coffee and cake debrief at Olive Olios in Cadboro Bay Village.

Note:
  Always dress for the possibility of immersion and please bring a drybag containing a spare change of clothes.
Please bring a lunch / snacks and sufficient beverage to keep you hydrated, as well as a themos of something warm.
