***THIS CLINIC IS NOW FULL*** There is a second one taking place on June 11.
Day paddle to practice First Aid scenarios on water and land, e.g. Anaphylactic and Hypoglycemic Reactions, Hypothermia, Heat Stroke/Exhaustion, Heart Attack, Stroke, Sprained ankle, Dislocated shoulder, Concussion.
This clinic does not provide First Aid certification. Prior experience is not required, however, you will benefit more from the clinic if you have taken prior first aid training.
The clinic will be led by Alert First Aid Instructor Mike Barnes. The assistant will by kayak instructor Jordie Allen-Newman.
Cost:
The cost of this event/clinic is $105.
Note: Refunds for cancellations will be permitted until 2 weeks in advance of a paid workshop, clinic, or course. Within 2 weeks of such an event, refunds for cancellations will only be provided if another member registers and pays for the spot vacated.
