Details:
Have you completed your ROC(M) Certification and are wondering what is next. Join this clinic for an evening reviewing VHF procedures applicable to kayakers, types of calls, key features, and practise simulating various incident scenarios. The clinic will also benefit anyone wishing to familiarize themselves with using a VHF radio or intending to take the certification course.. We will share experiences using the VHF radio, compare different models and discuss DSC type radios. Please bring your radio with you to the class, if you have one, and be prepared to discuss its features and your own experience using it.
Cost:
The cost of this event/clinic is $15.
Note: Refunds for cancellations will be permitted until 2 weeks in advance of a paid workshop, clinic, or course. Within 2 weeks of such an event, refunds for cancellations will only be provided if another member registers and pays for the spot vacated.
