Plan A:
Come explore the beautiful Sooke basin. We'll leave from Cooper Cove and first explore the Ayum Creek estuary. From there we'll follow the shoreline, taking in the sights and wildlife on the way to Roche cove. We'll have lunch at Roche cove. After lunch we'll follow our route back to our vehicles, but taking a more direct route.
There are no washrooms at the launch or at our lunch destination. The gas station just after Cooper Cove has washrooms. Roche Cove has a trail leading to a thick forest
West bound vehicles cannot turn left into the Cooper Cove parking lot. You will need to drive by the parking lot and then make a U-turn either at the next road on the right, or at the gas station.
New members who have joined in the last year get priority for this paddle.
