The shoreline from Oak Bay to Gonzales Beach his always interesting! We'll noodle along, exploring the various rocks and islets along the way. If conditions allow, we may take a detour out around scenic Trial Island. There is often some current through Enterprise Channel, so you should be comfortable with a bit of current and have a strong forward stroke. A lunch stop in Gonzales Bay with allow to to refuel for the trip back (washrooms are available on site).
A moderate ebb will predominate during the paddling day, so save some energy for the transit of Enterprise Channel back to Oak Bay Marina after lunch.
