This route hugs the shore around Willis Point and to Mackenzie Bight. Paddlers are expected to meet the PC skill level appropriate to this RELAXED paddle (Beginner and Level 1 or 2) . Paddlers should be able to complete the distance at 2 knots or more. If conditions are good and a slightly longer route is desired by all, we could add a partial tour of Todd Inlet. This paddle will include a lunch/rest stop at Mackenzie Bight so do bring something to eat and plenty to drink. Finish time will be near 2:00 pm. Coffee/debriefing for those interested will be at The Emporium in Brentwood Village. Paddlers who have VHF radios are encouraged to bring them.
A wait list will be kept. Paddlers with higher level skills are encouraged to register for more challenging routes, leaving room for less skilled paddlers on this paddle.
