Plan A:
This paddle takes out and around the lovely shoreline of Becher Bay and then along the exposed shoreline of East Sooke Park. We will paddle past Alderidge Point and Beechey Head in the park on our way towards Cabin Point. The shoreline of East Sooke Park has lots of interest with various rock outcrops and channels. This area of the shoreline can get some influences of the open ocean with some potential for ocean swell.

We will lunch at the small, protected beach Cabin Pt. and return the way we came.

Please be aware that this area can have strong currents and active water. You should have a strong forward stroke and be prepared to encounter some current and dynamic water along the way. Full immersion gear is required on this paddle.
