Details:
Our leader will introduce the Plan and make sure everyone is comfortable with the requirements and any concerns that you may have. Please stay off the water until we are all ready. The leader may choose to enlist helpers and establish communications protocol. If you have VHF radio please bring it with you.
Plan A:
After a beach talk and gear check, we'll paddle out of Telegraph Cove noodling north towards Gordonhead where lunch awaits. Tide will be almost 3 metres on departure, not leaving much beach and not much lower upon our return. Currents will be light, but what there is will be in our favour both directions. It will be cold (it’s December for heaven’s sake!) so dress warmly and bring extra layers for lunch time and if you can hot food. More information as we get closer to the date. If all hell breaks loose, an alternative plan will be proposed.
Plan B:
With the beach closures, if enough paddlers are interested, we will shift to Brentwood Bay to Spectacle Falls. This involves a crossing
