NOTE: There is a MINIMUM of 8 participants needed for this clinic to proceed, if we do not get a minimum of 8, a full refund will be issued to those who have registered
Tides & Currents by SKILS (1 Evening). Understanding tides and currents is essential for any coastal paddler. This focused evening session breaks down the complexities of tidal systems, current predictions, and local effects into simple, usable concepts. You’ll learn how to read tide tables and current atlases, anticipate flow changes, and apply this knowledge to trip planning and timing. Perfect for those wanting to fill in knowledge gaps or feel more confident navigating dynamic coastal waters. Make sure you bring a notepad and pen for your in class work. This clinic is put on by Nathan Slater. He is a certified SKGABC Level 3 guide, a PC Level 2 Instructor, besides many more qualification, including a Certificate of of Wilderness Leadership.

Note: Refunds for cancellations will be permitted until 2 weeks in advance of a paid workshop, clinic, or course. Within 2 weeks of such an event, refunds for cancellations will only be provided if another member registers and pays for the spot vacated.
