Details:
Overview:

This clinic introduces a river-reading framework adapted for sea kayakers moving through tidal currents and coastal features. Rather than paddling from point to point, participants learn to identify and link features - seams, tongues, eddy lines, pressure zones - and make intentional choices about where and how they move.

On-Water Focus:

- Interpreting flow patterns in tidal currents

- Identifying usable features and consequences

- Choosing lines proactively rather than reactively

- Linking features to reduce effort and increase control

Who It's For:

Confident intermediate to advanced paddlers who already paddle in currents and want a clearer mental model for what they're seeing - and why some lines feel easy while others feel chaotic.

Cost:
The cost of this On Water Clinicis $75
Note: Refunds for cancellations (minus bank fees) will be permitted until 2 weeks in advance of a paid workshop, clinic, or course. Within 2 weeks of such an event, refunds for cancellations will only be provided if another member registers and pays for the spot vacated.
