Overview:
This clinic is aimed at trip leaders who want to improve how learning happens on the water. Participants explore how to intentionally design scenarios in dynamic environments, tailor them to different learning outcomes, and debrief them in ways that deepen understanding rather than just recount events.
On-Water Focus:
- Setting scenarios with clear but flexible learning intent
- Adjusting complexity to suit different learners
- Using environment, timing, and constraint as teaching tools
- Structured debrief techniques that turn experience into insight
Who It's For:
Trip leaders who already run groups and want to elevate their teaching, mentorship, and training design.
Cost:
The cost of this On Water Clinicis $75
Note: Refunds for cancellations (minus bank fees) will be permitted until 2 weeks in advance of a paid workshop, clinic, or course. Within 2 weeks of such an event, refunds for cancellations will only be provided if another member registers and pays for the spot vacated.
