The leader may choose to enlist helpers and establish communications protocol. If you have VHF radio please bring it with you.
Plan A:
Light currents on this day should offer reduced turbulence when rounding Albert Head. High mid-day tide should permit access into the lagoon and Sitting Lady Falls. Meet at Albert Head parking lot at 9:30 to be on the water for 10:00 am. We'll launch and head along the shoreline toward Witty's Lagoon. There is wonderful potential for a bit of 'West Coast feel' wave action and some rock gardening if you so choose. If you intend to play in the rocks on our journey you MUST wear a helmet. Lunch will be outside the Lagoon after viewing Sitting Lady Falls (where there are picnic tables and toilets.) After lunch, we will paddle around the Haystock Islets and return to Albert Head along the shore.
