Details:
Our leader will introduce the Plan and make sure everyone is comfortable with the requirements and any concerns that you may have. Please stay off the water until we are all ready. The leader may choose to enlist helpers and establish communications protocol. If you have VHF radio please bring it with you.
Plan A:
The plan is to round Becher Bay, heading to Aylard Park/Movieset Beach stop for lunch and then round on back. We may decide to do this counterclockwise if the group wants to. this is a 6 mile paddle, and is in an easy going bay, with just one crossing across the top mouth of the bay. No alternative plan yet, as we should be afforded relatively protected waters.
NOTE: There is a $10 fee per paddler, payable to the marina offices.
ALSO: Please do not block the ramp, keep kayaks off to the side until we are ready to launch, Thx!
Plan B:
Telegraph Cove to Margaret Cove, as winds are at present as of Feb 22 8 to 13 knots S/SW, not making Becher Bay too great for a relaxed style paddle..
