Details:
It is vital to consider weather and wind forecasts before heading out on the water. Alan Campbell will show how he routinely uses a number of wind forecasting apps and websites for planning paddles: Environment Canada, Predict Wind, Windfinder, Windy, Big Wave Dave, and SpotWx. Alan will also discuss how ocean currrents interact with winds and swell to create the sea states we encounter on our paddles.

The cost of this Off Water Clinicis $15
Note: Refunds for cancellations will be permitted until 2 weeks in advance of a paid workshop, clinic, or course. Within 2 weeks of such an event, refunds for cancellations will only be provided if another member registers and pays for the spot vacated.
