Watch it first (0:52). The written steps below cover the same ground.

Sign up a family member

On a family membership, the primary member (the person who manages the household in My Account) can ask for a spot for anyone in the household, straight from the activity page.

  1. Make sure they are on your household first: choose your name at the top of the page, then My Account, then Household & Membership. Use Add family member, then Save family changes. On a single membership, choose Upgrade to family plan instead.
  2. Open Calendar, find the activity and open it. On the Registration card, the Household list shows everyone, with you marked (you). Open beside a name means you can ask for a spot for that person.
  3. On that person’s row, choose Register (on a paid activity it shows the amount, for example Register $45). When a paddle is full the button reads Join waitlist (Waitlist on other activities). Do one person at a time.
  4. The first time for each person, a Confirm privacy policy box opens. Tick I agree to the SISKA privacy policy, then choose Register (or Join waitlist) in the box.
  5. If that person has no SISKA e-waiver on file, the waiver opens next for them to sign. Otherwise you land on the receipt.

Back on the activity page, each row shows where that person stands: Requested while the leader decides, then Confirmed, Waitlisted or Spot offered. A row that still needs a waiver has an Open waiver button, and you can cancel one person with Cancel registration on their row.

Each person is a separate request with its own fee, and the leader decides on each one. Emails about a family member’s registration go to that person’s own email address. If they have none on file, check the Household list on the activity page for news.

Not the primary member?

Only the primary member sees the Household list. Everyone else in the household signs in with their own account and registers themselves. No account yet? The primary member can choose Resend invite for them in My Account → Household & Membership.

Bring a friend who isn’t a member

Some activities take guests: non-members who sign up with just an email address. Activities marked members only don’t. A guest asks for a spot like anyone else, and the leader decides.

  1. Send your friend the link to the activity page. You can’t sign them up from your own account; they do it themselves, without signing in.
  2. Signed out, the Registration card shows Members with Sign In and, when the activity takes guests, Guests with Register as Guest (or Join Waitlist as Guest when it is full). No Guests option means the activity is members only, or registration isn’t open.
  3. On the guest page they enter their Email, First name and Last name, tick the privacy policy box, let the short security check finish, and choose Register as Guest.
  4. If the activity needs a waiver and they don’t have one on file, the SISKA e-waiver opens next. Once it is signed, Continue takes them to their receipt, marked Guest. If they stop before signing, the email confirming their request has a Resume waiver follow-up link, which works for 14 days.
  5. On a paid activity the receipt shows the e-transfer details. Guests pay the same fee, the same way.

The leader sees them marked as a guest and confirms, waitlists or declines them like any request. Your friend hears by email. To cancel, they choose the leader’s name under Contacts on the activity page to message them, or reply to an email about the activity.

Used to be a member?

If your friend’s email already belongs to a SISKA account, the guest page asks them to sign in instead. Many activities still accept a request from someone whose membership has lapsed, and the Registration card says so. Members-only activities ask them to renew first. To keep paddling with the club, joining SISKA is the way.
